DESIGN DEVELOPMENTS

Embroidery is fully customizable and there are so many techniques, threads, cords, ribbons beads, sequins and crystals to choose from. Before starting the sampling, it is ideal to have reference ideas and images ready of the kind of work our clients are looking for. so as to make it easier for the embroidery designer and artist to have something to start with, we do research work on upcoming trends and forecast. Based on research we create beautiful swatches using different techniques/materials for a wonderful look.

FABRIC AND MATERIAL SOURCING

Sourcing is the USP of 5L DESIGN STUDIO. We source different type of fabrics i.e cotton, silk, Lycra, tulle/ DTM (Dye to match) fabrics as per pantone’s/ color reference provided.
Materials are sourced with REACH COMPLIANCE. We assure all our materials will TEST PASS by TESTING LABS in case of client needs test passed materials keeping the cost factor in mind before going ahead with sourcing. We also provide customised laser cut elements in various shapes and shades.

PATTERN AND ARTWORK

Once we have the paper pattern, an experienced artist will trace paper pattern onto tracing paper and then create an “embroidery artwork. CAD is also a way of making artworks quickly and more precisely.5L DESIGN STUDIO is having both ways of making artworks.

PRODUCTION

We get one piece made as approval sample, which goes into QC process. Once approved by QC, it is sent to the client. After approval from them, proceed with the production in supervision of merchandisers and production managers.

QUALITY CONTROL

During the production process a quality control check will take place to ensure our clients receive the highest quality product. This process starts from the beginning when the styles are on the frame to avoid any kind of mistakes. We keep all the points in mind in terms of shrinkage, material falling off, embroidery matching at seams etc. for a flawless finished product.

PACKAGING & DESPATCH

We do all type of packaging considering heavy beaded styles which need extra care to avoid falling off beads during transit. The fashion industry is well known for its rapid and tight schedules. We take an immense pleasure in our ability to manage with tight deadlines and on time deliveries of show samples at last minute notices.
